Having followed them from the beginning, I always got the impression that Stephen was the far more studied of the two, having put more of the time in to study "the classics" of comedy.  As such, when he and Ricky work together, it seems Stephen's role has often been to put the brakes on Ricky and apply some comedy

"Next she'll be hanging around a Home Depot parking lot looking for construction work."

A pet peeve of mine as well.

One thing I can always count on a new Adam Sandler to deliver…

The accountant is none other than Steve Brody, who so brilliantly played Brent's agent in The Office Christmas Special, part of the inspiration for Darren Lamb in Extras.  Just a quick plug for him as I think he's quite good.

No one has yet mentioned it, but look at the lyric sheets on the music stands in the video - this is consistent with earlier reports that Neil may be working on some sort of Americana album:

Why settle for annoying?  Why not also terrify?

Whether you like his cover tunes or not, Clapton really excelled at bringing the attention of the masses to guys who otherwise flew under the general public's radar: JJ Cale, Bob Marley, Johnny Otis, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Freddie King, etc.

So how would Deadwood work on AMC?
