Niedermeyer in Animal House was a stiff , Metcalf's role in the Twisted Sister video was along the lines of that character, but he wore jeans and wore his short hair looser ( no gel ) , an eighties father with questionable conservative values , yet we don't know if his ( last ) name was Niedermeyer .

That's another problem with self referentials that I don't like , yet , I do not mind a friend or two of the star appearing in his or her movie or TV series , if that person plays someone , cameo or supporting , involved in the storyline , playing a character who does not remind the audience of another character he or…
