Agreed. After all the build-up and talking of how much of an a-hole his father was, I was actually excited to finally meet him. All that, only to deliver such a laughably bad, soapy scene. smh.

Jamie being interesting again is long overdue. I am so glad he is getting out of the sillines of King's Landing. Not to mention the possibilites of his reunion with Brienne AND exchanging some lines with Thormund.
I definetely would like that as well but, since its not likely, I hope they make the most out of the flashbacks.
I wrote a comment about my complains of the speech but forgot about the dialogue before it. It just reassures that, at least for me, this was some of the worst and laziest writing on the show so far. And, unsurprisingly, it was in Dany's storyline.
Agreed. Both shot and written.

That whole Tarly scene felt like a soap-opera, with Sam's mother looking like some of their actresses too (had some fakeness/plastic vibe, can't find the words to explain) unlike any other Lady in the show.
I see. So maybe there wasn't a plot hole in this episode, however my point was that if the show starts messing with time travel it can get confusing and most likely lead to eventual mistakes, not to mention it would add a whole new aspect to an already convoluted world. That is why I wish the show would have stay…
I don't know if you mean that "it was meant to happen" or if you mean that Bran just happened to witness it in the past but had no role on it playing out? I'm curious.
I don't think the way Bran screws up is poorly constructed since they showed the three-eyed raven hinting at Bran being able to intervene in the "visions" when he yelled at his father, yet i think he didn't want to be specific about it so Bran wouldn't feel tempted to change anything form the past (and to keep the…
