I take it you’re about the same age as the game? If not, this post is really sad.

Few people, as far as I’ve met, appreciate video games and what they’re made of nearly as much as speedrunners do.

Why?

Oh, so you’re just complaining there’s nothing you like coming out in May? I see that a lot. “I don’t like/want any of these games, the Switch has NO games!!” Personally, I never got to play Disgaea 5, I fucking love the idea of taking Minecraft everywhere I go (on an actual system, not a phone), I’ll happily play an

I find it pretty neat seeing those struggles dealt with in real-time, so I’m okay with that. I obviously hope, for her sake, that it happens quickly and smoothly, but I’m a big believer into artists letting their emotions seep into their art.

“You didn’t obsessively check Kotaku to see if you got any messages in a five hour period? Idiot.”

Why don’t they count? I would agree they’re not system-sellers, but they’re damn fun and I’m definitely not only playing Zelda (though that is the majority of what I play).

It’s just a funny article. Do you comment on The Onion’s articles solemnly as well?

“Hey maybe you guys should think about treating women better in your games, here’s my point of view”
“Yeah I see your point :) I agree and I think I’ll change that“

I love the current art style but think the comics are awful. Exaggeration isn’t a bad thing, and the fact that all the facial expressions and everything are unique (compared to every other comic ever) is nice. I just wish the writing wasn’t god-awful.

Binding of Isaac, bub.

I feel like a 0 out of 10 would be for something impossible to play. 5/10 is completely average, not a good or bad experience, just boring. 2/10 is a shitty experience.

What about it doesn’t make sense?

And what do you think of utilizing regional/console differences? Like Heather brought up earlier, if a certain (even obscure) console has a marginally faster load time than the mainstream one(s), many speedrunners will utilize that. Is that not an economic and supply concern?

Sure, but they still keep improving anyway. Whether or not you like the decisions they make with their consoles, Nintendo’s first-party games never cease to be fantastic.

Personally, I think the whole “these games are old therefore they’re of less value” mindset is kinda toxic. I’d be more than happy to pay $40 for a collection of a few incredible, acclaimed classics, personally. Just like you’re not gonna pick up a Criterion Blu-Ray copy of The Godfather series for $5 just ‘cause it’s

Are you a thirteen year old who just got his first big boy PC?

Holy shit, are you two twelve?

That’s what I’m saying, though. 98% of the time I can pick up all the resources quickly without accidentally hitting A on a weapon or shield. It’s not really that difficult.

I’d actually love the swap icon always being there when your inventory is full. Maybe you sprint around mashing A, but Breath of the Wild has pretty slick controls and I’m able to just pick up what I want without having to sprint around randomly. When I try to pick up a weapon, it’s because I want that weapon, and the
