This just means the names are dead right? There is no way the get out of the 3/5 series segments. Didn’t we already know they were changing the names?

Good list but I would get rid of that Corvette and replace it with a Maserait GranTurismo S. 12,000 miles, 1 owner, all maintenance done, $79,999.
This one just felt like a step backwards after the 2nd generation.
I am really surprised by how many people have actually been saying that in the comments. I guess if you can only afford one car then it might be a valid complaint but I don’t know many Miata owners that only have a Miata.
This is not for people who are looking at a Civic. The title does not say "Don't buy that Civic, get this Mercedes". This is for people who obviously want a luxury car and here is the top of the line at that time for the price of a Civic.
I would have probably put the Porsche Panamera in this spot. The 6 GC looks nice in pictures as well but with the Panamera pictures really do not do it justice. When you see one driving on the highway they standout and look really good.
If this is what is stopping women from getting into racing I will eat my shorts, all this does is give models less job opportunities. I'm sure there are a bunch of 7 year old girls saying "see those grid girls that is why I am not getting into carting!".
Nice Z or Mustang you have there!
I don’t doubt that they are not shitboxes anymore but they are nothing fantastic or exciting either. If they were to bring this to a production car I would probably give them more credit for at least trying to not just copy and follow the leaders.
Yeah for sure, its just a shame that does not make it ways to production cars. If this car comes to production I would be really impressed.
I really don’t give much credit to the Korean manufactures but if they built a production version close to this I would have to give them their due, this is pretty damn cool!
Makes sense for some, but $350 million in profit? I don’t think so, this will probably barely get by and will be dropped in a couple years. The biggest sellers will probably be Cadillac’s but I still don’t see it taking off and being a big money maker for GM.
Totally agree. I came up on one on the expressway and it was great looking. After seeing the kind of presence it has in a sea of beige I would buy one in a heart beat if the S model would get down into the $30’s with 50,000 miles. The high 40’s for 50,000 miles is just a bit too much for me.
Its not about brand loyalty its about not putting stock in these “comparisons”. Literally these are just fun things reviewers get to do because fanboys like to argue about lap times that have so many variables its not even funny.
Exactly, I think they just needed something to complain about in the iM because that is the theme of this article. The iM is exactly what it was going to be and if someone thought otherwise they were just tricking themselves. Very few cars are close to their concepts, take the new WRX for example everyone was so…
I think you are a little harsh on this. There was not way this car was going to have flared fenders with wide tires and stanced. This is a pretty good concept to production as far as I am concerned, if nothing else it is no more offensive than any others.
Like I said I guess we are different people, I do not let the lack of a comparison test dictate what car I buy. I’m not confident enough as to declare why they are not letting the LaFerrari take par in comparison tests but I would bet it is more complicated than “they’re scared”.
Is it just me or does the CTS look more upscale (excluding the awful center stack)?
Its better but still near the bottom of cars I would chose in this class. My aunt has like an 10’ or 11’ Malibu and it is complete junk, its been in the shop more than my 21 year old 200,000+ mile Lexus.
