I saw it twice. It was fantastic. I’m not huge into plays but make it a point to see Denzel in all his broadway shows. He really is a force and opposite a strong actor like viola, perfection.

Ha!! I just caught that I wrote photo. OopS! Thx.
Ah. Thanks for the info. I wasn’t raised in organized religion but find it interesting. I have a very strong sense of spirituality and god but not through Christianity. I do think Jesus was an exceptional person who was connected to god in a special way.
It’s been debated. There are a few “lost years” where nobody knows exactly what he was up to between late childhood and early 20's I think. There are many passages where it talks about him learning to heal and learning the secrets by Indian men. I believe he went to India based off a lot of his teachings.
I think I get it. I practice energy work similar to reiki and we use something similar to the Holy Spirit to access the spirit or soul or energy of the being we work on. (I know that sounds hokey!) That modality of healing is actually what Jesus supposedly learned in his travels to India and around the world.…
AH. very interesting. Thanks! I wasn’t raised Christian or with any strong religion. My parents were more new age hippies than anything. Ifind religion interesting so thanks for the recap. What would you say the Holy Spirit is?
Ah I see. I always took that to be praying to his father which is part of him. Rather than him praying to his physical self or whatever. I think a lot of it is very open to interpretation.
They may have still gotten herpes. Herpes isn’t tested for in regular std tests and can’t be prevented by condoms. The few people I know who have it had pretty much no idea who gave it to them or when they got it. They never got outbreaks but tested positive. One of them tells sex partners. Two do not.
I think this is partially true. Also this was the explanation my ex Muslim bf gave me when explaining why women cover their heads. He basically made it sound like men can’t be trusted to control themselves so cover up. That wasn’t the reasoning my female Muslim friends gave but it was interesting nonetheless.
Denzel is a legend. I have been madly in love with him since I was a kid and if it comes out that he’s an abuser, I’d be heartbroken.
HA cool. I’m not sure which comment you’re referencing but cool :)
Do he actually pray to himself? I don’t remember that.
Same. I’ve probably read 10% of what I’d like to. I think you can gain a lot of knowledge about religious history from reading but spirituality comes from feeling and living. I don’t really think the two are connected. I have friends who go to church or call themselves Jews without believing in god. I also have…
Yep I agree with that. Love for spirit should transcend all physical love. I’m not there yet (I don’t think I’d ever give up my children for god) but understand and agree with what is being said.
I’m dying over this. Thank you. This reminds me of something my angry 13 year old atheist brother would send to his Hebrew school teacher. Just the website-evil bible is hysterical. Eta just realized you might have sent this in seriousness. In that case, thanks but I urge you to read the Bible for yourself and…
Yeah we had a cowgirl and father dance at our school. It was so much fun and a night alone with my dad was special. We wore cowboy outfits and like danced and drank Pepsi on barrels of hay in the school gymnasium.
Slightly offensive photo. Jesus never wanted anyone to pray to him. He spoke of love and acceptance and peace. If everyone lived by his words, we would be in a better world.
Um they didn’t make sweats popular. I’ve been wearing my juicy sweat outfits since 2002. Usually not outside but sometimes. And I always get complimented on them. 😜
BENICIO! I love him so much. I think he’s incredibly sexy. I also love Joaquin Phoenix. I love the whole “ugly sexy” thing. I like a man who looks like he’s been in a fight once or twice (this week).
You’re right. There are. This isn’t important, it’s just a mindless escape from reality. You have my sympathies. When my dad was in hospice I freaked out at a poor random guy talking to his contractor about his new house. They were discussing something I felt was trivial and yelled in his face that it didn’t matter.…
