Here’s the thing about “senior staff.” They don’t actually do any work. They have meetings, steer the ship, and keep everyone in line. Most of the devs actually doing the work are just as committed to the final product, so I doubt those departures will have much effect on the timeline.

The 2022 regs were created specifically to level the playing field. Granted, that doesn’t mean it will, but the primary issue with the current regs is Mercedes was so far ahead on the hybrid tech it took literally until now for everyone else to come close.

I am so pumped for this game. I’ve played FH4 to the point that unless some buddies want to get on and race, I never feel like playing because it all feels so repetitive.

To be fair, there were map filters you could apply, but yeah it was pretty annoying that the default was to show everything all the time.

Make Happy was borderline not comedy too, though not to this extent.

Watched this a couple nights ago. It is mind-blowingly good.

Agreed on both.

How’d y’all get a pic of my infotainment console?

These tires didn’t wear out - RB got on the horn right away to race control to suggest they stop the race because there was no sign the tires were going to fail. They went from performing well to blowing in a split second.

Wonderful.

I mean we’re all here reading it and reinforcing that behavior.

Here’s hoping the surge in PC gaming caused by COVID leads Rockstar to better optimize its freaking games. My brother has an i9-9900K, 32GB RAM, RTX 2080 Super, and he can’t play the normal game on full ultra settings. He can do textures, but has to tweak a bunch of other crap. Ridiculous.

I vacillate between thinking keeping mask mandates is a good idea for this exact reason, and being OK with releasing them and letting the virus run rampant among the segment of the population stupid enough to lie about being vaccinated.

You seem cool.

I think it becomes problematic through the lens of it being a white guy playing an Indian guy. If he was Indian and actually spoke with that accent, there might be no issue. He’s given lines that are funny because of his accent and imperfect English but nothing about the character is insulting to Indian people, if Ben

I mean, other than the accent, I don’t know of any Indian stereotypes that could be played out on screen. But even that - why did he have to have an exaggerated Indian accent and flawed syntax, other than to play it for laughs?

To me it’s 0-60 in 7 seconds or less, regardless of power. But, I don’t think there’s a single CUV for $25k that hits that mark, so none of them are sporty IMO. Ford and Mazda make higher powered trims of the Escape and CX-5 that do, though, but then you’re at $35k.

I just switched to T-Mobile late last year, and their 5G coverage is excellent. I have been shocked at how frequently I have a 5G signal in my area, even in some more rural places. BUT there are more absolute dead zones than I had with Verizon too, so there is a definite trade off.

Look, he could be like one of the millions of other boomers in the country who insist that today’s culture is overly sensitive. Instead he’s acknowledging that it was a different time and that it was not the right thing to do. Let’s give him some credit.

I have a Short Circuit t-shirt that is in terrible shape but I refuse to get rid of it.
