I am so pumped for this game. I’ve played FH4 to the point that unless some buddies want to get on and race, I never feel like playing because it all feels so repetitive.

To be fair, there were map filters you could apply, but yeah it was pretty annoying that the default was to show everything all the time.

Make Happy was borderline not comedy too, though not to this extent.

Watched this a couple nights ago. It is mind-blowingly good.

Agreed on both.

These tires didn’t wear out - RB got on the horn right away to race control to suggest they stop the race because there was no sign the tires were going to fail. They went from performing well to blowing in a split second.

Wonderful.

I mean we’re all here reading it and reinforcing that behavior.

Here’s hoping the surge in PC gaming caused by COVID leads Rockstar to better optimize its freaking games. My brother has an i9-9900K, 32GB RAM, RTX 2080 Super, and he can’t play the normal game on full ultra settings. He can do textures, but has to tweak a bunch of other crap. Ridiculous.

You seem cool.

I think it becomes problematic through the lens of it being a white guy playing an Indian guy. If he was Indian and actually spoke with that accent, there might be no issue. He’s given lines that are funny because of his accent and imperfect English but nothing about the character is insulting to Indian people, if Ben

I mean, other than the accent, I don’t know of any Indian stereotypes that could be played out on screen. But even that - why did he have to have an exaggerated Indian accent and flawed syntax, other than to play it for laughs?

To me it’s 0-60 in 7 seconds or less, regardless of power. But, I don’t think there’s a single CUV for $25k that hits that mark, so none of them are sporty IMO. Ford and Mazda make higher powered trims of the Escape and CX-5 that do, though, but then you’re at $35k.

Look, he could be like one of the millions of other boomers in the country who insist that today’s culture is overly sensitive. Instead he’s acknowledging that it was a different time and that it was not the right thing to do. Let’s give him some credit.

I have a Short Circuit t-shirt that is in terrible shape but I refuse to get rid of it.

Ugh house hunting is the WORST right now. Still a good article, though; I always enjoy your writing, Ash.

You are actually the one who is missing the point, but apparently you can’t stop adding nonexistent negative connotations to neutral statements, so I give up.

Here’s the thing, saying a woman on Twitch is “taking advantage of her looks” is itself sexist.

I was gonna say. It literally is just gratuitous if there are actually no lasting consequences.

I should clarify I am not criticizing streamers for doing that, just pointing out the hypocrisy of sexist Twitch trolls.
