I liked this scene, but two questions:
Cooke comments are merely continuing the tradition of honor, respect and pride synonymous with the Redskins name.
Rose Leslie can dress me up however she likes as long as she lets me listen to that accent of hers.
I’m getting kind of uncomfortable with the focus on this man as if he is the only comedian who does this. Why the pretense that he is the only one making these kinds of jokes? Why not talk about every comedian—even the ones that aren’t Black men—who make these kinds of jokes?
Disclaimer: I’m obviously not blaming Kathy Griffin for this.
Maybe it’s because I have a degree in compsci and math, but I was really hoping this article would end with an actual number (“7 times per month”) based on the headline instead of a big wishy-washy “It depends”
Can someone explain to me why the insulting stereotypes asserted here as general facts are permissible? I am generally really impressed by Lifehacker’s forward thinking, but as a father I found this straight offensive.
the dictionary kinda disagrees with your assessment of racism.
“My dad sold me out to be murdered and I’m the cause of most of the wars in this world thousands of years after me death.”
Ok, so he can be racist, but I can’t? Hey society, here’s your mirror.
Technically, I believe it was other black people who initially caught them. Or is that just some shit racist white people made up on the Internet?
If we’re so slow, how come we caught and enslaved you?
Also:
Irrelevant. Doesn’t mean you can assault a cop. Please take your BLM, anti-cop hate elsewhere, dipshit.
My guess would be that they were determining whether the gunshot was self-inflicted or not. It’s easy to sit here and wonder why an investigation was needed, but it’s probably a good thing that the authorities take a little time to rule out murder. You know, just in case he was murdered and there’s now a murderer…
Leave it to the democrats to run somebody with a hard, immovable 53% disapproval rating and all the charisma of Joe Flacco.
yes, one piece of trash human being shoots another in an isolated road rage incident, and the whole country is scary. over 350 million people in this country, and approx. 12,000 or so are killed every year in gun-related violence. I’d say your odds of being shot in this scary country are slim to none.
