It’s almost certainly intentional for marketing purposes: hook ‘em up front, explain the caveats afterwards and hope they listen. It’s incredibly irresponsible.

I really don’t get how people are struggling with this concept. EVERYONE gets mad at old people when they drive a regular car dangerously. Yet the second a rich one gets behind an autopilot car they’re totally innocent?

Literally every point you’re making is a bad one.

1. Unless he’s dead and managed to die in a position where his hands stayed on the wheel, he IS intentionally sleeping. He almost certainly tricked the car to make it think he was still awake. Chances of accidental death here are much lower than him just being a dick.

2.

It’s not the fault of the design, at least not completely. They have tried to design it so that people cannot do this, but people are determined to bypass those defenses. That’s how we know that this guy purposefully tricked the car into thinking he was awake. (Yes, Tesla could and should keep trying harder to make

If he’s old enough that he’s so suddenly falling asleep that he doesn’t have time to pull over, guess what--he shouldn’t be driving.

I’ve got news for you--if you’re behind the wheel of a car that is in motion, there’s no “accidentally” falling asleep. He’s not a victim here. If he noticed himself getting so tired that he was closing his eyes, he should have pulled over and had a lil nap. This kind of behavior in inexcusable and completely

And I loved all the terrible reviews it generated. It has something for everyone!

The Grey is a wonderful and ridiculous movie, especially if you’re a Liam Neeson fan. Some genuinely good action/survival sequences though!

I am the rube who will watch a movie simply because it has Liam Neeson in it. Looking forward to seeing this newest movie, Liam Neeson On a Snowplow!

I’m completely able-bodied, but even I stumble sometimes because I’m a dang klutz. Add in a stroller or, you know, snow/rainwater, and you’ve got a bonafide gauntlet.

Well, fuck. I’m going to be much more mindful/helpful for people in her situation when I see them.

See, this is the kind of asshole I originally thought got stuck in the elevator! I would really love to see how strong and cool-headed this guy is after 72 hours without water, food, or a toilet.

The point of that cut (in addition to highlighting the racism) is to show that the man has the stone that Claire has in this episode—he’s Otter Tooth.

I mean, a faction of people just told her about how another time traveler, someone from their own race to boot, tried to prevent genocide and it went so horribly wrong that he went insane and they cut his head off.

I guess that’s one of the pitfalls of this season being so rushed. We don’t get to see how Roger has developed and nursed this anger the whole time. Really the only time we see him reflecting on his emotions while a captive is in relation to Brianna/the priest. The anger is never established, so it just felt out of

I gotta say, I agree with you. In my opinion they both come off as very unnatural actors compared to Claire, Jaime, Murtagh, etc. It wasn’t all bad this season, but uneven enough that they felt like unreliable performers.

It’s not that he tries, he just goes up on the hill and can’t hear the buzzing sound that the travelers can hear.

Someone, probably Claire, mentioned the possibility that the baby could go through the stones but end up in a completely random time.

Wooowee, was this episode rushed. I guess that’s my main take-away—everything felt rushed. I’m not usually on Brianna’s side, but this episode really did her a disservice. Also, this season has done a terrible job of setting up a) Ian’s extreme interest in Native Americans to the point where he’d decide to stay with

Whatever our differing opinions on the episode, can we all agree that the actor portraying the main Mohawk captor was fantastic? He sold me on that burning pyre moment which was, at the very least, a lot.
