I went to school in England for a brief time and I was surprised and amazed at how seemingly all the boys of a certain age were obsessed with American pro wrestling. Merchant’s a couple years older than me but when I first saw the trailer I wondered if he fell into that demographic and that’s why they hired him.

Agüero’s numbers are pretty staggering but, barring injury or transfer, Harry Kane seems to be trending toward surpassing them. He’s 5 years Agüero’s junior and the pace Kane has set over the past 4 seasons eclipses even the best Agüero Premier League years. Time will tell, I guess.

Anyone who, like me, was raised in Southern California probably has this local commercial pop into their head whenever they hear Zack Steffen’s name.

The Ronin armor Hawkeye is wearing was kind of a cool mystery in the comics. People were wondering who was under the mask. This movie seems to just be tossing it in as an afterthought (he’s sad because his family got snapped is the prevailing theory).

I was in the crowd for Ovi’s first NHL hat trick. It was against the Ducks in Anaheim and it was the first hockey game for two friends I brought to the game. (Ovi beat the Ducks 3-2 in overtime)

I just watched Borg vs. McEnroe last night and when I saw this header image, I took me a while to piece together why the actor who played young Bjorn was there. I had no idea that was his son. He did a pretty good job.
