I like him a lot, and enjoy his material even when (or especially when) he's being snarky.

NICE! I was trying really hard to build a nice fortress at The Castle, but was getting really frustrated with the size limit, even with the trick to increase it by dropping a ton of weapons on the ground and re-looting them.

I love the gray-area morality idea. I really gotta take another stab at The Witcher 1 so I can eventually get to 3. (I'm picky about playing games in order with ongoing stories like that.)

I grew up in Maine as well, and have joked a bit in the past that Zack and I seem very similar up until I moved to California in 1989.

Oh yeah, Daggerfall's "procedural" dungeons, where you could end up stuck between a door that opens to a 100-foot instantly deadly drop, and a ghost that you can't damage with normal weapons.

EVE Online is massively complicated and boring overall, unless you enjoy ruining others' fun by being a pirate. Otherwise it's more dull than a spreadsheet.

Yeah, that one.

Words that sound and mean almost the same as more commonly-used versions annoy me. Gravity/gravitas, Variety/varietal.

I like it!

That works, because I hate the word "gravitas" almost as much as I despise the word "varietal".

I just finished the fourth book of "The Land" series by Aleron Kong. They're in a genre they're calling "LitRPG", where the stories are told as if someone is knowingly transported into the world of an RPG or MMORPG, and have things like character stats and leveling up integrated in the story.

I think I was introduced to him in 1988 by my step-brothers or their friends (the neighbors previously mentioned). Then when my dad remarried, I introduced my new (and current) step-brothers to Weird Al via either Running with Scissors or his Music Videos DVD.

I am also excited. I wish Weird Al all the success he can handle, and more!

"Fatso (who died in 1987) was owned (and manipulated in the video) by Charlie Schmidt of Spokane, Washington, United States."

"I'm sorry *snickers* Private. But your *snicker* brother is *chuckles, grins* DEAD! HAHAHAHAAA! Oh, sorry!" *stops grinning for half a second, looks around wildly, then smirks again*

HOLY SHIT THIS VIDEO IS GREAT!

Not to be confused with Homsar.

Yeah, I will always talk up Terraria and how great it is, despite being completely burnt out on it now myself.

Heh, and I've already replaced it twice. I now have a "Remote Grenade Launcher" which allows me to fire multiple grenades and detonate them all at once…AWESOME for doing mass damage.

More Starbound. Tedious details probably nobody cares about:
