Yes, I'd agree with that. It's not that she's stupid or even especially naive, it's just that they're such different people. She saw it as absolving him of something he'd been carrying, and that it was a weakness in her and their relationship that couldn't let him tell her. But Teddy still thinks of it as a

I agree, in fact I've been going around recommending these two dramas as the best of summer watching for me.

This is all going to end with Regina King's character, Nora, the ratcatcher, and Gus facing off against whoever's left. …I hope.

Wow, some bite to Daniel this week. I don't know what exactly triggered it, if it was having to find his way back with the bike or the conversation with Tawny or just having everyone be in his business again, but there were some moments where he was downright snarky.

I don't think Donna was ever the nagging killjoy wife character. I remember commenting in the first episodes how among the different characters she most seemed to reject stereotyping, being far more rational than the rest, and much more supportive than Gordon deserved.

I did not notice the absence of Tommy and Berlin till now, and didn't feel the episode lacked anything in that respect. It did feel like the show's settling into its half overarching plot + half episodic MotW, and I don't know that we need the latter, when so many characters have their stories going on. Especially

I thought this episode was definitely weaker than the last, but that moment of Ethan getting shocked was effective for me.
Otherwise, it was all drawn out and predictable, and not in a fun way.
The moments with Manheim did make me wish she had a more solid role. Not as Molly, maybe, but as Sparks, or hell, as John.

Oh, you don't think so? I think it's definitely possible. I mean, if it so happened that one movie came out four years later and had similar ideas, I probably wouldn't spend too much effort hailing the second one for being original. Though the similarities would be pretty coincidental.

Not taking a side either way, but things taken from Paprika aren't necessarily a sign of originality.

You and me, Thomas R. Focusing on the things that matter.

I'd take the inexplicably blase baby vampires over the goddamn GRs any day.

Wow, some really good discussions below. …and I only came here to see what was up with Abby and that naked lady.

Liked this episode, though not as much as the last two, but I think part of the downshift was because I first thought the ship they'd found was the one Irisa remembered/had a vision of earlier, and that this ep was going to progress storyline, about it being some incredibly powerful and valuable ship, and rope the

Considering it's a club that caters to this kind of thing, I'm pretty sure it is just for humans to pass as Castithans and possibly other alien races.

I was actually kind of happy for Teddy and Tawney, and thought they might be getting back to somewhere normal and happy with each other in the last two eps. Sadly, the end of this episode shows that's probably not going to be the case.

Marcus wasn't even her spouse, though, right? They referred to Marcus as her boyfriend.

I have to stop thinking of her as Meryl Streep's Other Kid.

Too good to be true, but this tweet makes me wish SO HARD for Renee O'Connor to join her.

I thought this episode, and the series, was going to go down the predictable path of continuing to keep secrets and letting them control everything, but it just kept on revealing things, and I was so glad that at the end, everyone was doing what you'd expect.
So worried for Camryn Manheim though.

Best scene.
