I was 13 my mum came into my room and very casually told me she was reading the news and saw that Gerard Way came out. I said I was happy for him to save face but I was very sullen during breakfast.

That, and imagine what that piece of rubber is going to look and smell like after 2 cycles of use without clean water to use to clean it up. Do you really want to sacrifice what little water you have to scrubbing out your blood cup?

Um, I’ve lived in NYC my whole life. There have been plenty of large-scale disasters — 9/11, Hurricane Sandy, the 2003 blackout, the 2010 blizzard — where nobody panicked, and there was no violence (obviously excepting the actual 9/11 attack, as opposed to the aftermath). Big chunks of the city were evacuated for

I grew up in a household that many in my small town considered “suspect” - my folks had moved there from a larger city, they were voracious readers, my dad did volunteer work with addicts, my mom was a professional - so I fully understand the feeling of judgement and rejection.

The reason death row is so long in most states is because inmates are guaranteed more rights (in court) than a life without parole candidate. There are mandatory reviews and stuff. This is a good thing.

I know theres a lot of people out there who think that this is okay, because whatever these people did to land on death row excuses however the state wishes to treat them, but fuck those assholes. This makes us barely any better than the countries weve invaded to topple people labeled as evil dictators.

I think it’s perfectly appropriate to mock people whose ground rules essentially proclaim that neither of them believe that he is to be trusted. And it’s doubly appropriate when those same people have turned their lives into a crusade to police the morality of others.

It is funny how so many forget that. Just because Trump is the worst does not mean Bush is now suddenly not a war criminal.

That’s the thing, “a guy I’d share a beer with” really shouldn’t be a metric we use for electing people to office. It’s fucking maddening that people didn’t vote for Hilary because they just didn’t like her. I don’t care if the president is a boring, buttoned-up douche, as long as they get the job done and don’t hurt

Well, the main difference is Bush seems like a nice guy who was in way over his head, where Trump is a horrible guy who is in way over his head.

Earlier today, when I saw the headline in the New York Times:

The Department of Energy has reportedly banned the use of the phrases “climate change,” “emissions reduction,” and “Paris agreement,” which is... insane! Help!

Anchovies are a hero to most

I was being absurd, not serious. My point was at least you guys don’t have to come up with ways to diplomatically tell someone you aren’t in the market for pizza slice-patterned leggings.

I’m sure this classic sitcom scenario happens all the damn time.

Do the people that bitch about kids on planes not own headphones? It’s not a dog deal.

That these are considered queer storylines speaks volumes about how the creators view queer lives. My life is not some sad, barely acknowledged side story. Ya’ll need to dance in the background of my life, for once.
