And the GT3 has parts that are just as expensive... not saying the maca isn’t more expensive to maintain, but I, and everyone with an inner 10 year old, would much rather have one.

.... the 650s is the same car with 28 more horsepower... you don’t get my point that the McLaren is faster, “more exotic”, and ultimately more desirable? Also, as for maintenance I’ll just leave this here:

They did, with a 991 GT3 RS vs a 650s, the 650s destroyed the RS, on old crappy street tires.

No way I’d buy a 430 hp GT3 when I could get a 616 hp actual exotic, that doesn’t look like a C2, that runs a 10.5 qm on street tires and crushes a 991 GT3 RS on the track for the same price, and won’t depreciate any more (although the depreciation on a GT3 isn’t too bad at all).

LOL WUT this car will run a 10.8 qm on street tires as it sits. It will absolutely destroy a 570 or a 458 or turbo S, C7 Z or even an F12. I’m not sure theres a better deal out there right now for bang for buck, even at the 120k price point.

Agreed, on my 335 im never, ever in 5th. 4th can to like 128mph, and 6th gets better gas mileage, so, why bother. Maybe the occasional wide open country road where im just moving along an want to goose it a bit without being in 4th (which is lower than 1:1)
