I'm so glad to hear someone else have the same issue. My friends all grew up on Star Wars but our kids only know Clone Wars. When we talk "basic" Star Wars (Episode 4 to 6 movies), they all seem confused.

Here's another thought ... DC might be forced to make the next Batman movie exist in a shared universe. If they do, then they will be forced to reboot the series with a new "Bruce Wayne/Batman".

This would be a good thing if Lucas is not writing the story or directing the films. Let him be the Technical Director and make sure all the technical stuff is being done right.

Don't forget the classic Japanese monsters ... Godzilla, Rodan, etc. They all died in their original movies only to be brought back time and again.

I agree with all of the characters getting their spotlight and allowing them all to be unique. I enjoyed watching "ice coldness" of Black Widow, the sadness of Bruce Banner, etc. Joss hit a "Grand Slam" with this film.

I know her character is dead, but there's still a little part of me that wants to find out she's just went into a deep coma. Her death just felt wrong. It will only get worse if they make her character a NPC. :-/

I was aware of the history but the trailer felt like it was going to be cheap remake of the classic story. I wish this trailer had been used, it would have shown a respect for the rich history of this story. And to me, the same images looked a lot more compelling.

Even as a kid, I always thought the Moon traveling to other planets didn't make any sense (I read/watched a lot of Sci-Fi).
