What do they expect? They hire a man with a known record of losing and blowing up teams, and then are surprised when he loses and blows up the team.

At least under the Prussian method, kids can read when the graduate high school
I pretty much agree with you in toto. Lost information is lost. The universe only has so much energy in it and so on. Not surprised that this created such a backlash, but we know so much more about the universe than the guy who said supersonic flight was impossible.
You think we're going to find a way to make more energy than exists in the universe?
You could make the same argument for bringing back the half cent, which we got rid of 150 years ago. In fact, the half penny was worth many times more than the current penny
so as long as you don't tell the kids your internet password, all is well
You didn't mention the part where this happens every 150 years, and is right on schedule. Business as usual.
If it ain't broke...
And France has less murders than you with more guns available. Gun crime is a cultural issue that has almost nothing to do with how many people happen to own guns. See the attached graph.
No, fists are not the next step. I am saying "because bombs, cars, fire and chemicals can't be banned, there's no point in banning guns." If I say "because fists can't be banned, there is no point in banning guns," you can come punch me.
I said you are no more likely to be shot if you are not involved in organized crime. Big difference. Look at victim statistics.
ok, first of all there, are 1.23 murders per 100k in the UK, using the .07 is disingenuous. I'm pretty sure people don't care how they are murdered.
Actually, you didn't give any statistics.
My point is that there are other deadly weapons readily available that are impossible to regulate, like fire, bombs, automobiles and chemicals. Fists are just a strawman that you brought into the picture.
Do you know what a molotov cocktail is?
That won't prevent anything. Where there's a will there's a way:
If you factor in population, the UK actually has almost many mass shootings as the US. We have 300,000,000 people and a shooting every few years. You have 60,000,000 and a shooting every 10 years. It's exactly the same thing.
Right, because if this guy was throwing around molotov cocktails instead, we would all be so morally superior.
