My parents first had me see Star Wars back when I was a toddler. I've literally seen them hundreds of times each for the OT.

Watch the first movie on a weekend. The extended editions are the better ones, it's not much longer than most movies now. Hell, my mom puts one on when she's doing housework and watches it.

Go see the original trilogy of Star Wars. Please. And watch Terminator 1 + 2. I'd watch one of the original Man with No Name movies with Clint Eastwood, but instead you could always watch the far superior Akira Kurosawa films they're based on, Yojimbo and Sanjuro.
