I think it’s because she’s come off as someone who does things to “look cool” (starting with the bindis) but doesn’t have the credibility to back it up. She reminds me of the preppy girl who decided she liked skater boys so she changed her look accordingly. (??)

Iy kiiiinda sounds like you’re describing Hangar 1-The UFO Files that was on H2 a few years ago? They had MUFON ‘experts’ and some interesting ideas.
