I legitimately do not understand parents suddenly being anti mask. A year ago we were all railing that opening schools was going to kill all the teachers and the kids. Now we want them there with zero protection. Make it make sense?

The Catholic church has come out in favor of taking the vaccine and masking up. Now, some of the conservative clergy disagree, but Underwood being a hardcore Catholic isn’t a reason for her to opposed mask mandates, or vaccination. If that is her position, that’s on her.

Even though the show was formerly called “Roseanne”, the real star was always John Goodman and Laurie Metcalf is equally outstanding, so it’s not really surprising the spinoff was successful without Barr. The big name guest stars just add to an already stellar cast.

An idea: Stop writing about him. Really.  No one should care about anything he says.

This must happen to even the best parents from time to time. Season 1 of Bloodline (the only good season) explored this dynamic well: how in a family of nice parents and lovely children, one of them will eventually become the fuckup when he can’t live up to the perfection around him.
