I've got to say that the thing I enjoyed most about FF12's battle system was actually the gambits. The flow of the gameplay otherwise felt to me like an MMO without the Massive Multiplayer and that really doesn't do it for me. I quite like it when RPGs have encounter systems

I for one still believe that the Ni No Kuni battle theme is amazing. But hey, to each their own.

You would think they would encourage piracy with Black Flag but...

If the trading card promotion is any indication, Skyrim will be the centerpiece of one of the upcoming daily sales, so don't worry.

I also being a student game designer, there's nothing worse than being put in a team of unmotivated classmates.

I'm pretty sure it was announced that it'd be using a standard laptop hardrive which is pretty much what the PS3 did. Proprietary memory of magnitudes greater than a few gigabytes is a pain

Did you say Kaiji?

I wonder if it would be a feasible course of action to produce older generation dedicated consoles opposed to current gen ones to keep production costs/sale price down? Would this be necessary to break into the market considering competition from the gray market?

When you take into account that the engine this game is running on dates back to the Orange box, that's pretty darn impressive

I'm quite honestly not that impressed with what I have seen of Titanfall so far. Gray landscape littered with soldiers and gunfire, it just looks like call of duty with mechs. Not to mention I have seen at least a few other games with similar summon-a-robot mechanics. Isn't it also just going to be multiplayer only?

The director's cut edition he speaks of will be based on the Wii U version that reworked the silly boss battles that were impossible to complete non lethally and reordered the sequence of events during the campaign so they would occur chronologically. I'd wait for the director's cut at this point; even with a

Hearing your explanation makes it sound like you're quite familiar with the 360 controller. One major ergonomic choice that differed between the 360 and PS3 was that the default hold places your index fingers in different positions. That is why most Playstation games use the L1/R1 (bumpers) in shooting mechanics

It was a steal at full price too.

Source engine is king

Wow, on 360 too? How'd I miss that? I heard Titanfall is running the Source engine so that's entirely possible.
