I actually must say, these changes have actually reduced a lot of the tedium that came with the depth of strategy in the first game. Gameplay is much faster paced as a result of simplifying the tower mechanics. Greater variation in pretty much everything from towers to maps to weapons to perks to enemies to playable…

I ordered it with the intent of trading the figure to a friend who has a collection of that sort of thing. In my opinion, the other stuff alone is worth extra but that largely would depend on how substantial the artbook is. In this case it's supposedly 100 pages so that's more than enough for me.
I've purchased a few collectors editions and have been extremely pleased by what I have gotten. Sizable artbooks and soundtracks are always nice. If its a game that I am really anticipating, I certainly would not mind dropping a little extra for it
