There are, I suspect, chances of greater than zero that the lawyer believes the witness has it (and more) coming. For the audacity of accusing their client.

HIs engagement to Maples was, literally, the biggest tabloid story that year. If she’s dim enough to not know that, she’s dim enough for any damn thing.

Speaking of the judge, that’s Kimba Wood, Bill Clinton’s AG nominee, who got squashed for not paying Nanny Taxes. That is some sweet poetic justice.

Boy, I didn’t know my state sen was one of these IDC ratfinks. I voted for him on the D line. Gotta find out if somebody is primarying him.

I mean, right? All these people are just as crooked as can be. And everybody gets away with it. It just takes one teensy prosecutor squad actually looking at the details to sweep up all the inbred criminality.

Yeah? Tell that to Matt Lauer.

His dismissal of Loretta Lynch tips his hand that he’s a standard-issue misogynist, too.

Stahhhhhp! I can’t even breathe anymore, you’re killing me!

I did not know spatchcocking was something I could ask my butcher to do. I am nearly giddy with this new knowledge.

I’ve watched the first 40 minues of ep one, and I’m already raving about it to my teevee-inclined friends. Such good writing, such a good cast, such a good spin on a cat-and-mouse trope.

I don’t know him, but gosh, Mike Allen seems like maybe he’s not very smart?

Simple: Everybody knows that Nazis Are Bad. Anybody who has grown up in western pop cult since WW2 has this already ingrained into a cultural shorthand. Now, White Supremacists think that they themselves are good. (Spoiler: they are not) Ergo, ispo facto, whatever is on the other side of them are bad, and since Nazis

Hannity is just mad that Rachel Maddow has taken the 9 pm cable crown from him. Like, so hard.

A friend of mine who used to do political organizing told me once that it was A Known Thing that in down-ballot races with little-or-no name recognition, women’s names were likelier to win than men’s names. The problem was always recruiting women to run! I’m very happy to see that not be the case this year.

So did L&O Criminal Intent, in 2007 (the Logan/Falacci year)
