You kid but recently at a 6 AM flight I was half asleep and was starting to take my pants off before I realized that was not necessary to get through security.

This proves I win.

Just make sure you get snow tires. Pictured: my MN all wheel drive steed actually on snow tires, unlike many many people here.

Renault asked if they could take FCA in to their personal mechanic/accountant to be checked out before the deal.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall during the CR-V driver’s call to her insurance company.

That’s not to say they’re all bad. The Circuit of the Americas, for example, is well-loved. Bahrain is fun. Istanbul Park in Turkey was awesome, and so was Korea International Circuit. We’ve had some duds: China, for example, and Abu Dhabi.

Jumps.  Some jumps would spice up F1 a lot.  I mean, *a lot*.

I was just thinking something along the same lines. If you want to drive something that expensive, that’s great; but everyone else shouldn’t have pay to fix it. Yeah, I know it’s the woman’s fault; but you decided to take your ultra expensive vehicle on the road knowing there is a potential for damage.  So there

Cop-were you driving the Honda?

That’s a very expensive insurance claim. Not just for the repair price; this accident will be recorded on Carfax, and New York allows claims for diminished value.

Two, actually.

Nah.  She has Liberty Mutual with accident forgiveness.

Also - 2 million dollar car, clothes look like they came from the $.25 rack at Goodwill.

It’s to hold the drivers ego

That’s what happens when you use your Walmart settlement to buy a Veyron.

Why did you post the same track 10 times?

I’ve been to a few tracks (including Tilke designed Circuit of the Americas and Yas Marina ) and the the best ones are always the ones that would never get built today. Spa and Monaco are my favorites. If you tried to propose building those or adding them to the calendar today, there’s no way they’d get approved.

wanna talk cookie cutter tracks?

...you mean like the Nordschleife, where F1 races were held for many years?

I know this is beating a dead horse at this point, and it will never happen, but I would like to see a return to gravel traps. The lack of respect paid to track limits and cutting corners to remedy a mistake - especially at Tilke designed circuits - is ridiculous.
