I think everything looks better as a wagon instead of the sedan version.

Get a manual 997.2. Yes, I’m biased (see avatar) but it is an absolutely amazing car in every respect. I got mine 2 years ago and I’m keeping it forever.
The 4C didn’t have a manual option anywhere in the world. Shitty auto only.
I thought the same until I drove a 4C. I also was able to understand why it’s not selling besides its exotic supercar looks.
I asked the exact same question when that subject was covered in my hydraulics/landing gear class :)
Keep in mind that when the landing gear is deployed, the airplane is not moving that fast. Those wheel/tire assemblies are very heavy so installing some type of device to make them spin by just using ram air wouldn’t be very effective. I can guarantee you that it would’ve been done already if it was feasible.
The weight penalty of adding some type of motor to spin the tires before they make contact with the ground is not worth it
The brakes are BY FAR the primary force stopping the airplane. Spoilers and reverse thrust are only supplemental. I’ve never heard or witnessed any pilots stopping the aircraft without using the brakes at all.
Not that I know of, but to give you an idea, each layer is either a disc or a set of pads sandwiched together. Then there are pistons that push them all together
I was there the normal time while the airplane door was closed and the airplane pushed back. I think it was just perfect timing combined with efficient Delta employees.
What is that? It’s probably the best looking toy car I’ve ever seen
Yes it is. Brewster green is a Paint To Sample (PTS) color.
The Veyron and the Chiron have 4 turbos. This one is naturally aspirated. BIG difference.
The rules say that there needs to be at least 2 teams for the LMP1 category to continue. If Porsche leaves, LMP1 is dead.
Once I saw the driver, it was immediately clear why it landed drivers side-front first
