This sounds like a pretty legitimate premise upon which to reboot a franchise. It’s nice to see some intention and adding a relevant twist to the old story. Plus Candyman was already pretty cool. I do hope Tony Todd pops up somehow.

They’ve now begun pre-production on Season 12, and if all goes well, it should be ready to air by fall 2019.

This article gives me the reason to post this, because it is just beautiful:

I am loving the ongoing science-nerd aspect of the 13th Doctor’s character. That moment she got lost in explaining positrons and antimatter to Yaz was beautifully done.

Imagine the possibilities for the rumored time-travel angle of Avengers 4.

I would pay to watch this be the GoT spinoff

All of the people listing British snacks indicates I have been missing out on a number of desert options. What if the TARDIS randomizes the snacks and different one’s come out? That might be funny. “Ooooh, a teacake, I didn’t expect that!”

Yep, imagine that show with a charismatic young actor like Dan Stephens, I sense some of its flaws would have been forgiven.

You really wanted a thread where brits discuss the merits of biscuits for the next gazillion pages, right? The custard cream is absolutely the right choice for the Doctor’s biscuit dispenser. It’s a ridiculous concoction but there is no better dunking biscuit in the entire universe.

Yeah, I kind of got a kick out of that TARDIS entry-way too.

The plot was okay, not great but not terrible, though certainly more entertaining than last week. I did like the callback to the Stenza from the first episode, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see them again this season. For me it was all about the anticipation of seeing the new TARDIS and I was not disappointed,

Honestly, if this means Heroes for Hire and Daughters of the Dragon TV shows I’m 100% fine with that.

Here’s hoping it gets replaced with a pure Daughters of the Dragon series (not holding my breath)

Still thinking Sarah Paulson’s Doctor character is the true villain. That everything in this trailer is the first half of the film. Dunn vs Beast is the opening (him rescuing the Cheerleaders and capturing The Beast). The hospital/prison is all the middle act. The final act is them vs the Doctor. The scene of the

FYI, the “I’m the smartest in the room” thing was hardly unique to 11 and 12. It’s pretty universal across the Doctors. One of my favorite examples is from “The Invasion of Time”, with the 4th Doctor. Chancellor Borusa reminds the Doctor he could consult the greatest database in the Universe (by which he means the

• I agree that Chris Chibnall’s previous episodes are not that great, but as a Broadchurch fan I have high hopes that he’ll find his groove with Doctor Who.
