Actually the only reason Arya is even murdering all those Freys is because just like every other change B&W did for no reason at all other than to make the show their own

The issue is when the author (God) of these books has said repeatedly on numerous occasions that he would rather have his books never adapted then to have them be not faithful to the books.

So you just want to know what happens? You don’t care if it looks or sounds interesting? Dany getting to Dragonstone is a huge moment. She’s spent seven seasons of television to get there. I think we’re allowed to spend a little time “drinking it in”.

You really should have gotten over “it’s so different from the books waaaah” a long time ago, or stopped watching something that is clearly divergent.

Man, Jim Broadbent always knocks it out of the park. I hope we get more of him. A lot of really nice little moments in this episode. I’m glad those remain even as the bigger picture takes over.

Random Musings (not the easiest episode to mine for humor):

It’s excellent. I’d recommend watching S1 and skipping S2, which is a frustrating rehash of the first. But the third season is currently on BBCA with most of the same characters and a whole new case, and it’s also great.

There’s only one logical person to have as the new Doctor’s companion..
