I can tell you when I got the call I started nerding out being a huge X-Men fan, then got to the office and signed a TON of NDA’s before we could start working. The only secret I had to really keep was the fact that Jemaine was on board…

To all Doctor speculators, a tip: it’s not going to be some already famous from movies, so save your breath on Idris Elba (a perennial favourite), and probably Ben Whishaw. Playing the Doctor is a major time commitment, and no one who wants to be in movies regularly is going to sign up.

3 years is not a bad run, I wish they had better writers and story ideas during his time. He may be one of the most underutilized actors to be the doctor.
