That part of prophecy wasn’t in the TV series.
That part of prophecy wasn’t in the TV series.
It wasn’t clear to me from this post, so I looked up the details before commenting. Direct from CBS:
I don’t think that means she isn’t pregnant.
So those of us who are in the U.S. would still have to subscribe to CBS All Access. Ugh - I’ve already got Netflix, Peime and Hulu, the last thing I want is another another subscription service.
I’ve decided that what was lacking in the most recent episode was nuance to Dany’s plot line. Throughout the series we have seen Cersei do terrible things but we’ve also seen moments that make you empathize with her at least a tiny bit, even if you feel bad for doing so because you know she’s horrible. Dany’s final…
To be clear, I am zero percent surprised at Dany’s actions - they’ve been foreshadowing this for years. I’m just disappointed that they took this particular path to get Dany to where she needs to be, so to speak.
I think most of us agreed she would die in his arms, but crushed by a crumbling castle? Are you KIDDING?

I think you are confusing the Marvel movies with The OA 😂
Jenga!
I get the feeling it’s a little bit of both.
Back again for another round of random GoT thoughts! I had to skip out last week due to a) having 6pm tickets to see Avengers: Endgame and b) the almost immediate realization that I needed to be 100% present for the battle at Winterfell. Also, temporarily looking at my laptop screen, even at the lowest…
The popular theory is that she may have cancer. Or it could be literally nothing.
😭 I tried exchanging my tickets for an earlier showing but everything is sold out. I’ll be about 1 hour behind the live broadcast.
Exactly. I think some people who didn’t like this episode may change their minds after we see who dies this season, especially in the upcoming battle. The humour provided some much needed relief while not being overdone.
*emotionally, not notionally.
There were definitely moments of humour, but overall not as much as usual. I gauge the amount humour by how many snarky comments come to mind while watching an episode (all of which come from a place of love, by the way). For me, this episode packed a lot of emotional weight.
Funnier than the first episode, sure, but there were several heavy notionally heavy scenes in this episode.
Better than the shown footage of Robin Arryn breastfeeding at the age of eight year old.
Basically 90% of this episode:
