You have a good point, but I don't 100% trust NBC to recognize it.

NBC will want to choose another family friendly musical. My top guesses (not necessarily my picks):
1) Grease
2) The King and I
3) Bye Bye Birdie
4) The Music Man
5) My Fair Lady

He'll be busy with Hedwig on Broadway. If you live near NYC you can catch Alan Cumming reprising his role in Cabaret this Spring/Summer.

Did you not read the second sentence of my comment?

"We should hang out soon!"
*heart melts*

Nope, I have no children.

I'm an only child, but worked in a day care when I was in High School and realized kids are better when you can hand them over to their parents after a few hours. Looking back I think that job helped inform my decision not have children, but there are other contributing variables.

I'm an honorary aunt for one of my best friend's kid, because I am an only child and will never have nieces and nephews.

Here's my philosophy: Everything causes cancer or is dangerous in some other way. You have to pick your battles.

Having children is overrated. Some people want kids and that's fine, but it's not for everyone.

Actually I love regular Dr. Pepper, I don't drink it any longer for health reasons.

It tastes flat and watered down to me.

Yup, but it's worth it if you only buy it every once in awhile. Cheapest I can find is at Target. In the late 90's Diet Rite had Black Cherry and Red Raspberry varieties, but I haven't seen those in over 10 years.

I've never tried the Perrier. Usually I buy the Vintage seltzer when there's a special. A few weeks ago my local grocery store had it on sale, 3 for $1, plus I had a coupon for buy five get five free. Total was $1.67+tax for ten bottles. Not too shabby!

Grape juice typically has a high sugar content, but a splash is probably okay. The bigger problem is it's only one flavour.

The only diet soda that tastes good enough to drink

The Black Cherry sounds intriguing, which reminds me that there is one diet soda I sometimes drink as a treat (mostly because it's expensive): Dr. Brown's Diet Black Cherry.

I've looked into getting a Sodastream but there are a lot of negative reviews about the taste of the flavours you can add. A small appliance that sounds like a TARDIS sounds pretty cool though and it would go well with my rice cooker which plays "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".
