I was actually wondering the same thing as well. I think it's a masked woman - you can only see her nostrils and mouth.

Geography nerds unite! I was the Geography Bee Champion of my elementary school in 1990. Thank you, Carmen Sandiego.

Thanks to the Carmen Sandiego game, I learned the definition of the word "spelunking."

Here's the mural from another angle. Including Hitler was confusing enough, but a rubber duck wearing goggles? Is the duckie supposed to be a representation of good or evil?

$20 a month for health insurance? What the heck does that cover? The cost of bullets when you are taken out back and shot? I currently have decent* health insurance through my employer and my current monthly cost will rise from $103.38 to $124.10 in September. My co-pays are on the higher end of the spectrum from what

Must be related to the use of the metric system/imperial units in the UK.

I'd recommend 'The Tall Guy' (Emma Thompson & Jeff Goldblum), but's not available to watch online.

I had a female classmate who was named Stevie (no clue if her parents were Fleetwood Mac fans). On a related note, I met a gentleman named Meredith last week. Apparently it used to be a popular male name.

Interesting... I'm not familiar with guttae psoriasis, but 2011 I got pityriasis rosea which would not go away. For most people it usually lasts for 6-8 weeks, but I had it for 18 months straight. My dermatologist VERY reluctantly suggested that I don a bikini and lay out in the sun for about 10 minutes a day. I

Then consider yourself lucky, because many people require treatment far more intense than one little session with a laser. Jesus, I've had plantar warts that took multiple visits to remove. Also, the younger you are, the higher your likelihood of recurrence.

I truly wish you all the best and a speedy recovery. My dermatologist's office is the only place I've ever seen PSA's with photos showing how damaging UV exposure is to skin. They should really plaster them all over tanning booths.

I hate being in the sun so so much. As a kid I loved swimming and my mother was constantly reapplying my sunscreen but I still managed to get sun poisoning twice. Now I much more careful and never go swimming outdoors until evening. Most of my family starting with my parents' generation and older has also had skin

I think you are right. when someone says that tanning bed lights makes them feel happy or good, I instantly think of SAD. If it were just about the appearance of being tan, there are other less harmful options.

Sounds like she could use a light therapy lamp. Also, I really do not understand why so many people do not take the dangers of skin cancer seriously. Several of my family members have dealt with melanoma and it ain't pretty. I sometimes joke that I wear copious amounts of sunscreen and use parasols because I don't

I'm having trouble coming up with anything cooler than these Star Trek cookie cutters.

Honestly, you could probably use a elasticized shower cap over the face with a few breathing holes. The glitter looks wet, which makes sense because a mixing medium would help keep the glitter in place. As for masking tape, I can't picture that. Fashion or first aid tape would be better, but still not comfortable.

A month from now Beyonce will continue to find random bits of glitter in her butt crack.

I haven't plucked or waxed my eyebrows in over two years. They are pretty close to what they used to be, but there are a few places that are looking a little sparse. At this point in the game I'm pretty sure they aren't going to grow in any more than they already have.

I never said it wasn't. I was explaining why I think she made the decision to do so because I believe it was more complicated than the simple desire to bone someone else.
