A Triple Shy of the Cycle

Not to excuse or downplay sexism in Tech or Finance, but these are the kinds of stories I really, REALLY would like to see more of in women’s spaces and for feminists to grapple with. I get that its hard being a woman making $100k a year in a job where a man makes $129k, and that it really sucks when some bros want to

We're snakes in a pit now? Where have I been? I thought we were still lesbian shit asses. Sorry guys, I have some redecorating to do.

A lot of what we have we owe to the feminist movement in the 60s and 70s, which started with a lot of consciousness raising - women sharing their stories and finding out that what they were facing wasn’t isolated. I think these stories serve the same purpose. It’s getting a lot of people to wake up. Think about the

Frankly I think it attracts some people with very poor social skills.

Blech. Family Feud has just become a Steve Harvey reaction generator. The questions are just designed to have somebody say something sexual so that Steve Harvey can pretend to be stunned and offended.

Um what does that leave us? What are the non-annoying man-approved things I can do on social media?

“Here’s your non-negoitable contract offer. Just remember, that free education can’t have classes that conflict with your football, and we’re going to provide limited health insurance and no economic rights. If you take ANY money from anyone on the side from someone willing to pay you for the image you generate (and

If people close to you get mad at you for accurately describing what happened, something is probably fucked.

I don’t drink coffee, so my opinion might not matter, but how we got from a simple cup of Joe for the working man to whatever the hell is going on at Starbucks is a little disturbing to me. I swear some people have coffee fetishes. The level of detail and commitment to getting exactly what weird creation they want

I’d say they were raised by wolves, but that would be an insult to wolves.

Absolutely not defending Starbuckshacker guy, but yeah, some manager at some point should have banned that fucker a long time ago. Managers can be the worst horrible customer enablers.

Bullying 101.

Re: Gluing the tip jar down:

I would have wanted to slowly pour the milkshake out onto the pavement while staring her in the eyes the whole time.

Ah service jobs (food/retail/anything). Where pretty much everyone has at least one story that ends with “and then I went and cried in the bathroom.”

We had to deactivate everything. Privatized meant we could still potentially talk to people during rush and that’s a big no no. Which if you think about it, it’s kinda hilarious. You’re supposed to shut down your social media and have a completely dry week where you don’t go out at all. No house parties and for sure

“After the chef removed the grill marks from the chicken, he sharpened the blackened parts into points and stabbed them in the dad’s eyes, Your Honor.”

And then spray her in the face with the little squirt bottle reserved exactly for these instances of being a horrible person.

Universities should just not support these institutions and should limit their ability to throw parties on school property.

To do this in the first place makes you kind of a dick. To do this in a public forum to children makes you kind of a legit psychopath.
