"Gratuitous and Juvenile Potshots" should probably be my tagline.

I've noticed more casual racism since moving to Chicago 4 years ago then I experienced in the prior 10 years in South Carolina. The ones down south are more blatant about it but there's racism everywhere.

Are you sure about that? Her boots currently knock with Jason Momoa's boots.

"Your rights stop where mine start."

I'm curious.

Eisen... damn. Maybe it's the dreary morning, but I'll say this: may all of us have friends who mean so much to speak so poignantly after we depart.

Engineers are wizards.

YES!!! A Week To Be Wicked is one of the best romance novels I read in 2014, hands DOWN.

Yes, there are people who describe things in pedantic, condescending tones; and yes, some of them are men; but holy fuck, it seems like any time a man describes something and a woman is unhappy with the man, the guy's a "mansplainer."

I know! When I finished it, I laid it down on the table and said, "Well played, Ms. McLean, well played." I used to dream that he came to live with us and started a lawn-mowing service that became a successful business as he grew up.

Season 2 is so much better on re-watch. The first time I watched season 2, I had the same reaction to Barksdale and co on the back burner, but the story the told about the Sobatka's, introducing The Greek, etc. was great. The Union's waning influence as well as their downfall being because of the wretched Valchek.

Something like "I love you and want you to be happy, and if that's with douchebag mccontrol then I will respect that and wish you guys the best, but I have noticed him doing x specific thing and it really concerns me. And I just wanted to say

I follow you on Twitter and I'm real. But I only follow you 94% of the time.

This is one of the infuriating aspects of the Black Lives Matter conversation, how quickly conservatives / many white Americans try to change the subject. "What about black men murdering black men? What about teenage pregnancy? Hey, ALL lives matter." Cool story bro, that's the not the subject at hand, and it is

Your doing the Lord's work, Sister Crosley. Well done.
