I’ve been following this story for awhile. You may be right but part of me believes its because it happened when he was 15. They only found out because he didn’t check-in in Oregon as a registered sex offender. Most juvenile records are sealed.

Buttermilk Falls and Tagahanok Falls are beautiful but also super close to the road/ not much of a hike. Watkins Glen is obviously amazing and perfect. I would go early in the morning so there’s less people. If you’ve time take the 1 1/2hour-ish drive to Letchworth State Park, totally worth it.

I LOVE London. I traveled solo there and never felt unsafe.  You can also take the train to places like Oxford, Dover, Cambridge, Bath, etc. and its very convenient!

Mount Saint Joseph, as far as I know, has always been considered a great private school that provides an excellent education and plenty of resources. I know very talented athletes who were not accepted due to academic concerns.

I don’t know anything about IMG, but I know about Saint Frances. They make a lot of promises to kids and then either don’t follow through or get rid of them when they don’t measure up athletically.
