*Not trying to get into an argument* but I think the point is that she CAN do that. She can say, “I’m black” and people are like, “Okay, let’s hear her out...” Whereas a dark-skinned person could not just *decide* to have the white experience.

It’s the hipster way to justify buying a trailer. “I don’t want to call it a trailer but I only want to spend like $30,000 on a house.”
“I don’t think we can fit a refrigerator large enough for our family of 6 in here.” ???
You sing into the remote control while flipping back and forth between VH1 and MTV. Duh.
I watched it the other day. WHY DOES EVERYONE COMPLAIN ABOUT SIZE. Like this one lady said her “must-haves” were lots of counter space and room for the kids to play. Do you not understand the concept of Tiny House? I’m so confused.
I read one where the guy asked for cake and then said he was “saving it for later” and put it to the side. He didn’t even comprehend what was happening. :(
This was my thought as well. I also appreciate their regular people boarding process and lack of Elite Business, Business, Diamond Customers, Emerald Group, Sapphire Club, Whateverthefuckelse. The few times I’ve flown another airline I’ve always thought, “So literally everyone gets on this plane before me?”
I once was on the phone paying for my brother to come home for Christmas. He was stationed in Germany and the only time he had ever been on a plane was to fly to Germany. We got all the way to the payment part of the the transaction before they informed me his flight would land at Dulles but fly out of Reagan and he…
It’s not just parties. I teach high school. This is what life is like now.
OMG. Has anyone seen the documentary with Lisa Ling “Inside North Korea”? In that they visit a home and instead of allowing Ling to ask questions they make her watch this little kid sing and dance?
Butting in to scream about how much I love eshakti. Along with the $10 customization fee, if you order from the App its 10% off and everytime I’ve ordered they send me a $20 off coupon once I receive my package. Well made dresses, always sales. 4 stars. two enthuastic thumbs up.
I just go back to him patting the stacks of paper, “Look at our bill! Look at theirs!”....that can’t be what they sent him out for, right? He’s just making stuff up, right?
It’s crazy. I’m white, and I teach in Baltimore. I’m really close with my kids (and also super liberal) and the people who know me best know this about me. Most people don’t say anything around me, but when I’m with people I don’t really know, it’s a stark contrast.
No problem! And if you download the App, they send you a $10 off coupon and if you order from the App you get 10% off every time!
In the end, Gomez and Haskell eat cheesy potatoes
I said it to another commenter, but you should look at eShakti. They’re amazing, affordable and pretty. You can get everything customized too (length, neckline) for a flat fee of 9.95. I used to buy from modcloth but the quality of eShakti is better in my opinion.
You should try eShakti. Almost every dress comes with pockets, or you can have them added. You can also customize the length, arm length and neckline. ALSO, you put in your height and they make the dress for you. And its still around the same price range as Modcloth. I love them.
Women’s “fashion” in general. Why does everything have to be THE SAME. Fine, stupid flowy tops with holes can be in style. Why can’t I still by a regular shirt too?
