Johnny Mnemonic:

1998’s Godzilla - I knew we were FUCKED by the end of the opening credits yet we stayed

friends and collaborators can be left in the past without being 6 feet under

can you share that revelation please? I feel like I missed a beat.

1st time I ever heard it was in the movie Colors, between Sean Penn & Robert Duvall. Considering this show's penchant for referencing tough guys and tough guy talk I'm willing to bet the characters and/or screenwriters of this show did the same.

"Now, I don’t think there was ever a disco rivalry with rap in the same way there was with rock music. And yet, I don’t really care."

The douche that Traci Lords brings to the opener of Blade is none other than Kenny Johnson, who would go on to do solid work on F/X's The Shield as Curtis 'Lem' Lemansky.

Love me some Replacement Killers. CRAZY FACT: Mira Sorvino thought she was the fucking star of this movie and not the sidekick. No wonder she faded into obscurity immediately after it.

I AGREE 1000% WITH YOU HERE ON THIS. This felt like a spin off movie featuring Blade with a shitty budge and he had every right to be resentful. Only the soundtrack partially holds up years later as 'bad ass music to do bad add things to'.

the Max Rager garage entrance they 'blew up' is the infamous Old Canada Post Office complex in Vancouver on Georgia and Dunsmuir - a huge building up for major redevelopment and storage to an equally cavernous underground parking structure which houses film sets, equipment and parking for the film industry shooting

"Get me the paintball vest"

"Chekhov's Tiger"

There is no justice in the universe…so Sasha is off to the next one in Star Trek.

"Forget it Jake, it's New 52"

he realized they're NEVER passing that torch in the franchise to him & making him an action star so he bounced - no big surprise there

it was that kind of thinking which revamped Playboy. How'd that work out?

why should a generation of Marvel fans want to try their current comics [conceived for the short attention spanned] when they can re-purchase their nostalgia in the form of the latest Marvel movie?

what I got from this was Marvel's executives don't know how to interpret sales data

I like change but it has felt chaotic this past year & its impossible to get into. It feels like Jim Shooter's diversity plan x one million plus steroids. You tuned out an entire generation of fans, one with purchasing power.

what scares me is that it is now 2017 and despite watching 2 seasons of Sirens, I now believe that Josh Segarra may be a good actor…
