I don't think Carol adding the "Like us" was for the audience's benefit - we get it. I think it was the character trying to cut through the struggle of Maggie's obvious despair. It may not have been the slickest exchange but it was miles ahead of Sasha & Noah's survival pep talk.

"MY CAT'S BREATH SMELLS LIKE CAT FOOD" can be inserted into ANY conversation, to let the others know you are out of your depth in a funny way. Thanks Ralph.

Stop worrying about this show's importance of keeping it real because when in doubt, this show is gonna 'keep it DYNASTY'. Hell, it even provides exact dramatic musical prompts for those beats in the storytelling. This show so heavily wants to be Dynasty for a hip-hop generation that you can't lose sign of this. FOX

Can you REALLY trace Cinderella to Van Halen in anything other than musical genre?

The only thing out of kilter w/ the show is you cannot have a season where BOTH Gina & Holt emote more. They gotta either stow it or take turns.

Enjoyed the premier far more than the majority of the 2nd season but kind of wish we got back to the intrumental backings we saw in the first season just to give the procedural more personality: http://youtu.be/vYgA5DLfK8g

Paul Reubens been promising new Pee Wee Herman movies for longer than I've been waiting for Dr. Dre to release DETOX. #grainofsalt

just tell me if I should be worried for Orphan Black or not

I was afraid The Flash shoehorning Firestorm into its series would be overkill but I recall that Firestorm was a series of 8 page backup features in The Flash's comic back in 1982 [after an imploded original 5 issue rum prior]. So, bravo really. At least their is continuity in the tradition, all new 52 bull aside.

I've gotta be honest w/ you, I'm a bit disappointed in the selection here. It's a great song but you overlook another rarity. During the scene where Prince crashes Kristin Scott Thomas' birthday and first lies eyes on her, a lush instrumental is used in the background. While Prince never directly recorded for his own

The entire casting of Alfred as angry and cynical and not at all polished is damn near inspired for the worst reason. It's like the writers DELIBERATELY chose Alfred portrayed thus way in hopes of birthing the future Meme of 'The Goddamn Batman' - http://knowyourmeme.com/mem…

Antoine Fuqua has been dining out on The Replacement Killers for years.

The only unfortunate byproduct of the housecleaning of side-characters this season is I feel that the loss of The Tunnel through Charlotte & Ray's story is unfortunate. It's a resource for the Cratel and the CIA. Somebody has to miss it…

Interesting that our interpretations of Sonia & Elanor vary. With Eleanor, its possible that she's skimming but I didn't see the point of the accusation being correct, especially w/ the details of her lifestyle. I can see other notes - especially those of her prize - making it into her ledger, as it isn't strictly

I'm sorry but the Rafi/Dirty Randy episode from last season was great in theory but horrible in execution and one of the series' biggest misfires.

The wife's dialog is almost the same, stilted poor writing & characterization that last summer's Ray Donavan stuck the female lead w/ & it is soley the writing room's fault. Giving a female lead portraying a character the endless loop of IT'S LIKE I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE will scuttle the likability of any competent

That Pete Townshend song murder sequence was the season's high point. Stop trying to deny it.

Yeah here's the thing about Vanity Fair's "lifeline" - HBO & the GOT show's producers have already shot this down saying the kids aren't getting any younger and the cast can't be kept under contract forever. Maybe Martin should stop adapting an episode per season and focus on the big picture itself.

In 2008 he was in the poor cinematic effort known as 21 - a clumsy adaptation of Ben Mezrich's Bringing Down The House. Spacey's role was expanded to an epic and nonsensical level [as was Laurence Fishburne's] & it was at this point I could feel the actor's ego and id eclipsing every project and poor decision he had

Honestly, this show has gotten lazier since Bill Lawrence walked away from it. Even Bobby, who they have been grooming into a Lewbowski-like upgrade, looks more haggard. The actor playing him looks 15 years older than his appearance in FX's THE BRIDGE last summer.
