Like Harley-Davidson and Coca-Cola, Jeep is one of the quintessential “American” brands. It’s not that other countries don’t have their own patriotism, or that they can’t appreciate American products, but “patriot” in combination with the Jeep brand will give too many people the connotation of “American patriot”.

I see the accountants have made great use of the last-gen Ford Fusion air vents. I’m not sure how much more it would’ve cost to make vents like the concept, but it would’ve been worth it. They looked so much more upscale, and more fitting of a car like this:

Pardon the error, the first time through I read it as Republican and conservative economics being referred to as the same thing (as Republican/conservative are terms more often used interchangeably than conservative/classical economics).

Can you show me where Republican economics been “proven” to work forever?

~80% of what you said is in line with the views of mainstream liberals. can you name any liberal politician that actually thinks “nobody should have to work for anything”? There’s a BIG difference between “we should use tax $ to ensure that every American has access to healthcare and college education” and “nobody

Volvo. If you get rid of the giant television in front of the passenger (and the iPad stuck onto the center console, too, for good measure), it not only looks very nice but is something that could be realistically made in the not-too-distant future.

I can’t think of another place that has so many quality cultural

Well, to be fair this was in the corporate lot. It doesn’t matter where the cars are built; their jobs are safe as long the cars are designed and engineered there.

I think Opel has some of the most attractive design language today. It’s a shame that GM insists on making the Buick and Chevy versions uglier for North America.

I’ve always thought that, without the over-sized grille, the pre-facelifted version of this car looked better. Why do automakers feel the need to ruin attractive designs in the name of whatever styling fad is “in” at the moment? At least it didn’t get butchered nearly as bad as the Lacrosse. Or the entire Toyota/Lexus

I see the accountants have won... this car went from stunning to meh in record time.

As weird, old, mail delivery vehicles go, I’m partial to the Jeep FJ-3 Fleetvan:

From the details we can see, it looks like a 2013-2015 Toyota Avalon:
