Six Feet Under actually did a pretty fantastic job with that, and the entire series is more than 10 years old now.

Congratulations Patriciajrose3, your words are about as meaningful as Rich Battista's.

I'd be more dead-set against Phi Phi if some of the other queens hadn't said stuff that contradicted her edit on this season. For instance, according to Roxxxy, she apparently asked Phi Phi for her opinion on her Snatch Game character (I'm pretty sure Alyssa did as well).

Just found this comment, and I share your pain even though I started watching both shows well after they happened (I'm still working through season three of HE).

I'm posting a comment on this review about four years after the last time someone commented (and a few days over *six* years since the actual review), so it's possible nobody will ever see this…

I like that you imply both items will come in boxed form.

Two years late to this discussion but I love this episode as well and consider it one of the show's best. Well, not "love", exactly, as it was absolutely harrowing, but I do think it's brilliant.

Some good ones in there! I haven't watched The Leftovers but the understated nature of that opening makes me want to check the show out. Transparent's opening is beautifully low-key, too.

I can tell you, since I just looked it up out of curiosity. The West Wing (a rather overrated show imo) got the Best Drama Show. Three episodes of The Sopranos, two of The West Wing and one of ER were the nominees for Directing in a Drama Series. Four episodes of The Sopranos and one of The West Wing covered all

Well said. I agree that the gorilla episode wasn't as bad as it was made out to be (although I'd still say it's probably the weakest episode to date, it was still mostly interesting) and it's grating seeing everyone trying to make "flashed the gorilla" happen. What, like using that phrase suddenly makes you clever?

I'll definitely keep watching. I feel like my reaction to this season has been the opposite of most people on here; outside of the gorilla episode and the first two episodes (which plodded a bit, but I'm willing to forgive if there were legal reasons behind it) I thought the season was just as good as the last. It

I'm with you. Honestly, aside from the somewhat plodding first two episodes and the spectacular weirdness of the Gorilla episode, I've found this season to be just as compelling as the first two.

I had the same thought. It seems like Bill is opposed to just about anything that will require him to look inwards, even when it means being bullish or, at times, a straight-up asshole to the other people in his life.

It's funny, because my reaction to this week's episode seems to these last two episodes seems to be the opposite of most others here; I found last week's episode much less satisfying than this one. I think the writers did as good a job as they could have with the time-jump last week, but I felt like so much was
