They wanted to make a game that reacts to a mass murderer realistically, I wouldn’t say that’s bad game design, it’s just a different approach, like he says, every other game treats you like a hero no matter what you do.

Um...no it’s not. If you want a game that reacts non-statically to your playing decisions, there are countless out there for you (Assassin’s Creed, Grand Theft Auto). We can argue about how “open and breathing” the world of Dishonored is, but to say it’s “bad game design” because they intentionally provided the player

The Ezio love is strong with all of us. But let’s be honest: that period’s style does NOT translate attractively to the big screen. Most recent movies with this costuming either adjust the style to be less ridiculous to modern audiences or frame the weirdness out when possible. ...But I want “It’s-a me, Mario!” on a

Fassbender’s a great choice though. General release movies need to have wider appeal than video games, and Fassbender’s a good way to catch the attention of people who might not otherwise find the AC universe appealing.

“and it just ruined the tone of the game.” Because excluding those characters, Street Fighter is all business. Street Fighter is campy as hell. Get over yourself.

I have no attachment to Mika or El Fuerte but YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH WHEN YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT DAN! *RABBLE RABBLE GRUMBLE GRUMBLE*

It’s an expansion, but it’s also overhauling a lot of the way the game functions. So, maybe something between a new release and an expansion.

Kotaku scores... No

We may be looking at it the wrong way. In my eyes, he’s trying to push the community to take a closer look. This is part of the tug-of-war between designer/community that’s been key to the game’s success so far.

Yep, it’s still optional.

What games are those?

too bad about Konami though. I’m gonna get this used when it’s cheap and that’s coming from a person that has every single Metal Gear game.

I’m afraid it’s going to be 8 days

This is the story of video games. It’s all good until you try to explain anything to somebody who isn’t into them. Then it’s like “oh, I’m pretty much speaking a different language, huh”

Isn’t Snake aging quickly because... he’s a clone and they made him that way purposely as kind of like a insurance? Not Fox Die. He was already doomed to age with or without Fox Die, or did that expedite it? I forgot.

Metal Gear is the kinda story where, when you’re playing it you follow what’s going on, everything seems tense, and except for humorous moments overall it feels like a serious work.

Then you try to explain or summarize the narrative and it becomes clear this is the most bat-shit story happening.

It’s only complicated because it’s intentionally convoluted. The characters don’t really matter. Every game involves either Big Boss or his clone Solid Snake. He goes on a peacekeeping mission against a group of maybe superpowered terrorists who want to instigate a nuclear war. He stops them and then opines on how

This video is an absolutely terrible way to understand the series. It’s factually just plain wrong about many things and is not like it’s trying to be funny.

yes we did.
