It’s more like they want to tell more to that storyline, I guess. BO2 is usually a lot of people’s favorites for online multiplayer CoD post-MW2 (or even MW1 and earlier for some), so continuing that style of game can be really good. I loved it so I really want to see what Treyarch does with the online this time. :D

They aren't really trying to appeal to any market, except perhaps Shadow of the Colossus fans. Being hard and having a roll move does not mean that they are going for a Souls demographic.
