@Starshock: As much as I love 40k, I don't really see why this comes up all that often. Sure, Starcraft clearly borrows from it, but hell, 40k borrows heavily from Dune. 40k's lore and StarCraft's lore are really pretty dissimilar past the aesthetic similarities of some things, mostly 'nids and Zerg.

@Paradox me: FFXIII, Pokemon SoulSilver, and, my personal favorite of my most recent games bought, FFIII (VI) for the SNES. Still probably one of my favorite RPGs, and somehow a game I never actually owned, just rented. Rented far, far too often.

@battra92: It's been a little while, but I got pretty good at the Williams "No Good Gofers" machine (pretty much a golf parody pinball machine with gofers that insult you) for a while.

@G1bblets (Interplanetary ninja assassin): The Earth-copy at the end of Sin and Punishment. It's awesome because you are fighting a planet. While, more or less, playing missile command.

@SPni: For a while I thought he had said there wasn't going to be any more Gorillaz stuff (sort of a "quit while you're ahead attitude"), but either I was wrong (most likely) or Damon reconsidered.

@Windrummerboy: I'm curious what exactly you mean. The soldiers don't look all that different than they did in Prime 2 and 3, which I always, at least to some degree, felt were based off the single dead soldier you see before Kraid in Super Metroid.

@himjim: I have to agree with VincentGrey, 4 or 6 would be my starting point of choice. Hell, I'm actually playing through 6 again right now, still one of my favorite RPGs ever.

@noboard: Oh man, Road Rash (and subsequently the Road Rash 2 and 3) was pretty damn awesome.
