I can only hope that my daughter will feel the same way about my 90s Mustang (in Europe) when she’s all grown up, as you feel about your dad’s Fiat. If I can give her those kind of car memories, I think my job as dad is well done.

Not sure how you Americans view it, but my opinion from northern Europe: a grey Passat: most boring car ever.
From the press release: “Only 21% of those calls for service were initiated by citizens, which tells me that our officers were proactive and addressed any issues quickly throughout the entire weekend.”
Let’s not forget that Mustangs were not only sold, but also assembled in Amsterdam in the 60s. These are the N-code Mustangs.
I once visited a Porsche meeting in Belgium. A tractor showed up and was parked in between the sport cars.
Had a convertible Foxbody once. Bought it because it had been for sale and the seller had enough and wanted to cut it up. Bought it to save it. Had a lot of work to be done. After driving it for 3 years decided I didn’t have the time and put it up for sale.
I actually have been thinking about that!
I drive a Mustang in Europe, which is absolutely my dream car. However lately I do feel concious driving it, afraid people will see it as a symbol against Islam or whatever. I hope Trump doesn’t make me too ashamed to drive an American car in public in Europe.
I’ve been a fan of the US ever since I was a little boy, travelled to the US multiple times, have an American car, have American clothes, etc. I have defended the US all these years against people calling Americans stupid.
I agree with you. When is the last time you heard a car commercial which said anything about driving the car?
“A pessimist is an optimist with experience”
With cars in Europe already being broken into to steal the airbags, so the airbags can go into crashed cars in the east, I fully expect to see stolen headlights soon to replace the ones in the same crashed cars. Your business idea might be needed sooner than you think, as an anti-theft device.
There are only 150 2015+ Mustangs in the Netherlands. Belgium has over 5000 of them, making them the country with the most Mustangs per 1000 persons in the world. All thanks to taxes in the not-so-united-Europe.
Can’t the guy build a garage around his truck? I doubt it will be an issue if the truck is stored into a building that is legally built on his premisses.
>>That stick sits just below a dash that’s likely eerily familiar to you as it’s basically that of the S95 Ford Mustang<<
