If you’re at all into historical fiction and this story, let me recommend Remarkable Creatures by Tracy Chevalier. It’s a fictionalized account of a true girl fossil hunter who discovered important fossils in England. I’m not selling it with that summary, but it was an enjoyable read.

40% might be closer to representative. Only 48% of Gen Z (so younger than some people in that stat which includes millenials) identify as exclusively hetero. Now, the 52% includes ace folks, pan, and NB which may not be captured in the NCTE survey, but 40% isn’t shocking to me.
