I had an ‘88 in college, and honestly that was a damn good car (for the era). 2.5 4 cyl. actually had some guts and the thing was kind of bulletproof. It was at 207,000 mi. when I traded it in.
Because consumers are sort of dumb and prone to buy from brand and model recognition than actual qualities of the said product.
My cars (CTS, Expedition) are just the right size for two adults and three daughters that will kill each other if squished together for so long and the road trips we take.
Seriously, Jalops, this is it. The moment of truth. We need to buy this car.
Meh.
My dad had a Topaz that was beige inside and out.
Ford Tempo!!! Do the Ford Tempo, I dare you to find one.
I had the two door version. A Chevy Beretta GTZ.

My SS has a very large trunk. I could easily get 5 sets of golf clubs back there.
That is my SS in the parking lot. How did you know it was mine?
Those are nice! Did you know this is the last year they are making those?
Was wondering how far down I’d have to scroll before someone mentioned the SS. This is the right answer.
Also, congrats on an awesome purchase!
This is on point. Rent a van for those twice-a-year road trips.
Another dad here who just replaced a Mk7 GTI with a 2017 SS (Manual) on the last 20% sale!
One of the most spacious back seats in the class (full size car).
I bought one too, have two kids ages 8 and 11 and they fit perfectly fine in the back seat.
Whoa you got 2 rear facing and a booster back there?
