We had an ‘87 Tempo that I eventually took to college. Beige with whitewall tires #EyeCandy. It was slow and the interior quality was garbage. It did have an airbag and a great JBL stereo. Eventually died when a Justy ran me off I-10 and it flipped when the cheapo Pirellis I bought at Sam’s to replace the whitewalls…
The Volt was far better. So GM killed it, of course.
