I’m an expert at replacing parts on the GM 2.8L engine thanks to the Beretta I had. And I remember getting in a heated argument with Chevrolet Customer Service when he told me the dash padding issue was normal wear and tear. I still liked the car though. It was sharp and drove well. Great for my college years.

Where in Alabama was the gas station were they got chased? I’m from Mobile and recognized some of the interstate scenery but not where the incident occurred. Doing that stunt in 2001 - 2005 Alabama, or anywhere in the rural South, was asking for it.
