I wouldn’t necessarily write off any sort of connection with Jak and Daxter yet in Ratchet and Clank. There’s still time for that to be a huge reveal when the game launches.

I wasn’t totally sure I’d be tempted to get a new system, but now I have to find a way to break my TV so I can justify buying a new super fancy TV that would justify getting a PS5.

This is a very respectable move from Lego. It’s a shame that firefighting sets are being lumped in with this, though. Not everyone with a uniform is a cop. Firefighters and EMTs are heroes and absolutely do not need to be caught up in this.

I don’t think you know what “standard” means. There is nothing standard about asking retailers not to advertise a model of the White House.

Anyone who wants to abolish cops is an idiot. What people want is cops who protect and serve rather than punish and enslave..... and for all humans to be served and protected equally.  This notion that protesters against cops must want no cops is absurd, and you know it.

This goes way beyond some safe, #hashtag corporate response. I hope folks recognize that. LEGO will surely lose some business but profit isn’t everything to some corporations. Refreshing. How many US companies would do this?

Most local Fox affiliates don’t actually have much to do with the shitty cable Fox News beyond the name.

Local FOX stations are generally going to be local news - it really depends on the station how bad/good it is, although there was that whole sinclair thing a while ago with the required televised speech thing.

I love that Ghibli is returning to Wynne Jones. They’re a match made in heaven! Her imagination was one of a kind, and just fits the Ghibli visuals perfectly well.
