I agree with you (and am a huge Supernatural fan) that they have been really good about picking up shows that other networks wouldn’t. I think maybe the issue is what you pointed out: a lot of their shows are on too long to keep any semblance of a good story any more.

I’m not sure I trust the CW of all networks to do this well. Most of their shows are meant for teens and very early adults and are just so soapy.
