Agreed. One thing Putin is doing with all this interference is uniting leftists and progressives across borders. Traveling in Europe in December showed me that we have allies everywhere, and we are recognizing each other now.

I’m not a huge fan of Snowden, but he seems to be a lot more responsible and ethnically guided than Assange. Not that that’s saying much.

I’ll admit that my dislike of him stemmed from his unwillingness to face his accusers. Or at least that I was more open to negative coverage of Assange and Wikileaks because of it.

Meh, I have never cheered for or trusted Assange or Wikileaks. I know a lot of Democrats and otherwise left-leaning people who feel the same. Of course many others thought he was the second coming so idk. Of course there are stupid and/or shortsighted people on both sides.

Well, if we focus on the things that are in our power we have a chance. All we can do about voter suppression is make our stance know to our reps. What we absolutely can work on is the voter apathy and the unification. That aspect of it is 100% in our own hands.
